Android TV-Google I/O 2014 Part 3
This is what was announced in Android TV by Google
- Combines all TV, Consoles, Set Top Box
- Google provides SDK for multiple screen sizes
- Will show live content
- Will probably run on Android L
- Will use Dpad with Voice commands
- Android Wear will become remote control
- UI similar to Google Now
- Can play Google Play games
- Can play music and video from phone
- The Play store for Android TV will officially launch this fall, and 2014 Sony, 2015 Sharp, TPVision Philips 4K and HDTV ranges will run on Android TV on a variety of chipsets from NVIDIA, Intel, and many more.

- 1 Billion 30 Day Active Users for Android in 1 year
- Android one-High-quality smartphones that each vendor qualifies for.
- Those phones will have stock Android, Auto installs
- These phones will be updated just as frequently as Nexus and Google Play edition phones.

MWC 2014 Day 4-Huawei
As all you tech lovers might know that MWC has started in Barcelona, so here is the launch for the Day 4
In addition to being a smartwatch, it also supports wireless calling.
Hidden inside the smartwatch is an earpiece that can be popped out so you can make calls hands-free.
Comes in a variety of colors and sports a Nike, fuel band-esque design
1.4 flexible OLED display, a 90mAh battery that takes two hours to charge
Huawei says will offer up to 6 days of use, and is 14.6mm thick.
The Talkband also has the usual slew of fitness goodies, such as the ability to calculate how many calories you’ve burned and how many steps you’ve taken.
Huawei has tossed in a sleep pattern monitor into the mix, which utilizes a “smart alarm” function that picks the optimal time to wake you up based on how you rest your weary eyes.

UPDATE-27/2/2014-Samsung announces Exynos 5422 Octa and Exynos 5260 Hexa
- Exynos 5422 Octa.-has four Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores @ 1.5GHz.
- The 5422, uses the big.LITTLE ARM architecture, but comes with Samsung's own tweak - HMP (Heterogeneous Multi Processing) technology. The HMP allows the device to utilize any combination of cores, even all eight, at once.
- Exynos 5260 Hexa chipset, we already seen on the Galaxy Note 3 Neo.
- It offers two Cortex-A15 @ 1.7GHz cores and four Cortex-A7 @ 1.3GHz cores. The processor supports big.LITTLE with HMP, so the device can use all six cores simultaneously.
- Both new platforms support displays up to 2560x1600 pixels resolution.
- The Exynos 5422 Octa also supports 4K video playback and recording, while the Exynos 5260 Hexa offers Full HD @ 60fps playback/recording.
- Exynos 5422 Octa will enter mass production by the end of March, while the Hexa model is already in mass production.
- Samsung has also introduced its newest 16MP and 13MP (16:9) ISOCELL CMOS camera sensors.
- Both offer 1.12µm big ISOCELL pixels and 1080p video recording.
- The 16MP sensor is capable of 1080p@60fps capturing plus burst mode at 16MP at 60fps and will enter mass production this quarter.
- The 13MP one supports 13MP burst mode at 30fps and will be available in Q2, 2014.

MWC 2014 Day 1-Sony
As all you tech lovers might know that MWC has started in Barcelona, so here is the launch for the Day 1

- Sony's CEO Stated that 2013 was the best year for them
- Also states that 2014 will be much bigger and brighter
- Talking about "The SmartWear Experience", Sony CEO said that "It is a Unique combination of wearables, Xperia smartphones, and the Lifelog applications."
- "Now our concept is going beyond the gadget."
- You can use Sony's SmartBand as a music remote control, make Life Bookmarks, receive notifications.
- The SmartBand will be available from March in a variety of colors.
- Sony has also partnered up with some other companies to do a few more outrageous SmartBand concepts.

- With the tech you can,with photos tagged in, count calories consumed, and also things like sleeping time be tracked.
- Sony will soon launch an SDK of SmartBand too
- Also showed a concept "Handsfree Camera"

The Android-powered Galaxy Camera 2 has the 16-megapixel sensor, 21x zoom lens and 4.8-inch LCD, but has improvements to battery capacity (up to 2,000mAh) and weight (down to 9.2 ounces). Samsung has also stuffed in a newer 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, and an update to Android 4.3 introduces both 120fps slow-motion video as well as separate autoexposure and autofocus controls.

The new mirrorless cam sports both a more light-sensitive 20.3-megapixel sensor and a fast hybrid autofocusing system that takes just 80ms to find its subject. Take a look at the back and you'll find a brighter, Super AMOLED-based touchscreen that can now tilt, not just swivel; on the side, there's a new 3.5mm microphone input. Glass aficionados may also appreciate two 16-50mm lenses launching alongside the NX30, including a quiet f2-2.8 lens and a video-friendly, f3.5-5.6 power zoom unit.

A Socks that can track your fitness? Yes that's true, a company called Sensoria has developed a pair of socks that tracks your fitness, it tracks and transfers date through Bluetooth to your phone. This is set to launch on 15th March this year.
