WWDC 2014 Full Rundown-Part 4

Here's the full rundown from the Apple's WWDC which was held on  2/6/2014

iCloud

  • 300 million users of iTunes are now on the cloud

iWork

  • iWork now is on the iCloud 
  • Pages, Numbers, Keynote all will be running on the browser
  • Looks identical to the desktop versions
  • Drag and drop to edit Office Docs
  • Can do 3D keynote animations in the browser
  • Support on Safari, IE, and Chrome too
  • Available today as a developer beta. All users later in the year.

OSX YOSEMITE

  • Can recieve phone calls now
  • Can recieve messages now too
  • Start work on iOS device complete it on a mac
  • iOS 7 look to mac now
  • Also will launch in Fall
  • Will be free

WWDC 2014 Full Rundown-Part 2

Here's the full rundown from the Apple's WWDC which was held on  2/6/2014

MAVERICKS UPDATE

  • Mavericks will free up memory automatically
  • Safari engine is used on 1.5 billion devices now

  • Safari has a sidebar bookmarks bar, reading list on the sidebar
  • Safari has now deep twitter integration
  • Push notifications from apps will push iOS alerts to your Mac. Notifications on the lockscreen. It will also do app updates in the background.
  • No leather on the Calender app now

  • Maps for OSX now
  • iBooks on mac now
  • New developer preview of Mavericks available now final release in Fall

Here's the full rundown from the Apple's WWDC which was held on  2/6/2014


  • Apple's App Store will celebrate its 5th Birthday next year

  • 50 Billion Apps have been downloaded
  • Now Apple's App Store has 900,000 apps 
  • 375,000 apps for the iPad

  • A company called "Anki" which makes robotics use Apple's Ecosystems
  • 72 Million mac's sold uptil now
  • "Macbook is the no 1 notebook in the US"
  • 35 % of users now use Mountain Lion

MAVERICKS UPDATE

  • 10th Version
  • Finder tabs now got full screen, tags,

  • Doc, and the menubar will be on both displays now
  • Mission control also supports multiple displays

  • Mavericks will reduce CPU activity upto 72%
