- Protection- You must not only protect the laptop from internal, but also external shocks. Internally if your laptop connects to a lot of internet setups you must have a good firewall, anti-virus. Externally, you must protect the laptop from all the falls and the tumbles. This will save from all the damage that can occur to the hard drive
