Everyone uses Google for searches but here are top 5 tips and tricks you can use for supercharge your Google searches

1. If you need to search a specific word or a phrase you can use double quotes and Google with its xray vision will search every webpage with that exact phrase or word

2.search a single site- to search a specific site you can do this go to Google search and type android site:techeaven.blogspot.com, and Google will search the specific word used in that specific website

3.Let Google be your maths teacher-if you are like me who hate maths and is horrible in it and for your 2+2= 22 then you need to use Google, try this for eg type in the search box 2+2 and u'll get the answer hmm did u know 2+2 is 4??

4.if you are using Google chrome much like Google's android you can use your voice(you can use someone else's voice too) to search on your desktop or PC just connect a microphone and tap the mic icon and ask your query

5.Let google be your time keeper-if your cousin lives in another timezone and you are always wondering what time is it there, then just type time followed by the city where you want to see the time of,

Ok so there were a lot of tech news last week so this will be made into 2 videos and posts and this is the first one, the second vid's and post will be link- there is a lot of news to cover so lets get started

1.Google Nexus 6 price in India has been officially confirmed thanks to the listing of the smartphone in the Play Store. Google Nexus 6 32GB variant has been priced in India at Rs. 44,000 for the 32GB variant, while the 64GB variant will be available in India at a price of Rs. 49,000. The smartphone will be available in two colours: Midnight Blue and Cloud White. There's no word yet on when the smartphone will be start shipping in India, but with the price now listed on the Play Store, the official launch should happen within the next week or so

Google Nexus 6 has the following specs

• Comes with a 5.96-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display at 493PPI. 
• The smartphone is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor

3.Motorola launched a new phone the Moto Maxx the global variant of droid turbo that was made only for us's carrier Verizon. the phone launched in Brazil a few days ago for BRL 2,199 that's about 857$ and 56,000 rupees approximately. the phone is about to reach mexico by mid November and other Latin american countries soon

The specs of the phone are

• the back features a 'Ballistic Nylon' build. The company says, "It's a high-quality, durable material with a distinctive texture and rich colour - you might recognize it from outdoor gear, like backpacks."
• Moto Maxx also features a layer of DuPont Kevlar fibre, and is claimed to be protected inside and out with water-repellent nano-coating.
• 3900mAh battery-The company claims that the smartphone can deliver up to 48 hours of mixed usage. Much like the Droid Turbo, the Moto Maxx also supports Motorola's Turbo Charger, a new accessory from the company stables that is said to provide 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.

4.Microsoft has released a press statement that their office suit which comprises of word, power point and other hit apps will be offered for free on android and iOS, without the need for an Office 365 subscription.

Google could bring voice commands throughout Android UI

We know that Google is working on bringing some UI changes to Android in the next release, but it looks like the company is preparing for a massive overhaul in interface and functionality when it comes to the mobile OS. If the rumours are true, this could be the biggest shift in Android UI and navigation since Google moved to software buttons with Android 3.0 all those years ago.

Android Police reports based on information received from sources that Google wants to put the ‘OK Google’ hotword and voice-based actions throughout the OS. The report calls it ‘OK Google Everywhere’. The feature would allow users to control different apps including possibly third-party apps with voice commands. The voice recognition feature would reportedly be always-on, just like the Moto X and will only work when it recognises the phone owner’s voice. Google could also add specific actions for individual apps through voice commands, such as sharing a just-clicked photo from the gallery app or sending a reply to a new email, using a combination of commands with the ‘OK Google’ hotword. It could extend beyond just such simple actions to actions related to the content of emails and messages, such as when a friend asks you to check out movie timings in a new Hangouts message, Google will be able to launch actions related to that using voice commands. It’s like Android’s powerful ‘Share’ button but totally voice dependent.

Google Shows off Project Ara

Google has released a new video offering a sneak peek of their Ara smartphone project.

The Californian tech firm is looking to cause a stir with its concept; offering up a basic smartphone endoskeleton that you tweak and upgrade yourself.

A video from Google gives us a quick meet-and-greet with the Ara team, and sheds more light on the device, explaining how the modular upgrades will be held in place with electromagnets.

Rumours suggest the barebones kit will retail at around £30, and will let users slot in whatever pieces they like, for example a camera module, a fingerprint scanner or, more importantly, a screen.

The project is pegged to be open hardware, meaning anyone with the know-how will be able to manufacture modules for your bespoke blower - gadgeteering plurality at its finest.

What’s exciting is that if a new camera design hits the market, you won’t have to worry about trying to pawn off your whole handset in search of the latest model – just tack on a new snapper at your leisure.

The search-engine turned gadget-overlord will be revealing extra details about the device at a Project Ara developer conference on April 15 and 16 later this year.

Google launches Newstand App

Google today launched a Newsstand app for Android, which combines its existing Flipboard-style Currents app, its Google Play magazine app, and a new newspaper subscription service to offer a variety of paid and free publications in one spot.
 The new Google Newsstand app shares a name with Apple's own Newsstand and it also mimics the functionality of the built-in app that Apple first debuted in 2011. As with Apple's Newsstand, Google's Newsstand aggregates content in one convenient location, combining all of a user's subscriptions for magazines and newspapers.

Nexus 7 and Android 4.4 Date Revealed

According to a news Nexus 7 and Android 4.4 can be announced on the 14th of October 2013

The device, which will be manufactured by Korean mobile manufacturer  LG, will be the first to have Android 4.4 KitKat, and with the chocolatey new version of the search giant’s mobile OS having just been officially announced, anticipation for its release, along with the new Nexus smartphone, is as high as ever.

Motorola working on a new handset

The device could  be a smartphone, since the new Nexus 7 is already hitting stores and rumours are that the new Nexus 10 will be built by Asus. Essentially, Google will be working on a new Nexus device by itself, considering it now owns Motorola . The best part about this news is the fact that it’s being rumoured that this Nexus device will not be a rehash of the Moto X. So, if you were worried that the new Nexus device could be a slightly modified Moto X running stock Android, that may not be happening. The Nexus smartphone division has seen manufacturers like HTC, Samsung and even LG produce phones for Google. It is also being said that LG might end up producing another Nexus device for Google.Meanwhile, news has emerged that Asus, and not Samsung, will be the driving force behind Google’s Nexus 10 tablets. A leaked listing by Best Buy too has gone on to show that the winning combination of Google and Asus that produced both versions of the successful Nexus 7 tablets could be working on the larger, 10-inch Nexus 10 too.

Google Glass Companion app launched

Earlier this week a companion app of Google Glasses was launched for Android OS ver 4.0 and above.

MyGlass allows you to configure and manage your Glass device. If you don't have Glass, then downloading this will be a waste of time. Sorry about that. But if you swipe the screenshots to the right you'll see there's a picture of a puppy in pajamas. So not a total waste of time after all. LOL
