5 Tips And Tricks About PS3

I recently bought the PS3 12 GB, that is my first console and i got quite a lot of time with it. I was curious as to what my console can do. What are its limitations, where it shines.
So here are my findings, and on that here are my Top 5 Tips and Tricks About the PS3

• Did you know that you can buy games from any country and they will run perfectly on your PS3? That is possible because no PS3 games are region locked. According to Wikipedia Region Locking is" is a class of digital rights management preventing the use of a certain product or service, such as multimedia or a hardware device, outside of a certain region or territory. A regional lockout may be enforced through physical means, through technological means such as detecting the user's IP address or using an identifying code, or through unintentional means introduced by devices only supporting certain regional technologies (such as video formats, i.e. NTSC and PAL)." But beware all Blu-Ray DVD's are region locked and they may or may not run on your PS3

• You can turn on the PS3 without touching the on/ off button- To do this first turn on the PS3 from the mains. Wait till the red light turns on. Then press the PS Button on your controller to turn on the PS3.

• You can see how much charging is left in your controller- To do this, first turn on the PS3, and long press the PS Button and the screen will change to this, and if you notice, in the lower left hand side it shows you the Charge left in the controller

• How to backup all your game saves- To backup all your game saves. Plug in any USB Pen Drive on the PS3

• Go To Games

• Go To Saved Games

• Go to the games that have been saved

• Click on Triangle

• Choose Copy

• Choose Destination as the PenDrive

• Wait till its done

• You can install custom themes to your PS3- To do this download any PS3 theme(Search Google for that), Download that theme, Create a THEME folder(yes all in caps), Put the theme into it attach the PD onto the PS3. Go to Settings, Theme

• Tap on Triangle
• Choose Install
• Choose USB Stick 
• Let it install
• Enjoy

Origins of 2048: The simple puzzle game that’s spawning clones in abundance

After the world had gotten over Flappy Bird, the game that literally drove people to make murder threats against the developer, everyone was waiting for the next great mobile gaming sensation. Even though Flappy Bird is set to return to our devices soon, this time it will have a newer, and just as addictive, game called 2048.

Calling it just one game is wrong and misleading, since 2048 has spawned hundreds of different variants on Android and on the Web. Created by an Italian programmer Gabriele Cirulli, the game was released on March 9 to the Google Play Store and quickly climbed the popularity charts. To play the game, all that a user had to do was to swipe number tiles to sum up two 2s or 4s or 8s and so on, till they get to the number 2048. With each swipe a new number pops up to add to the challenge and you have to keep clearing the board as the numbers keep growing. You can literally spend hours just swiping in any direction to see tiles combine. It’s fun and keeps you thinking. The beauty of the game lies in its simplicity; there’s no flashy interface or complex controls.

There was one problem though. The game which has been copied by so many other developers was itself a copy (or was it inspired?) by another game called 1024, which in turn was inspired by another game called Threes. Phew! Read that again to understand what you read.

Sirvo, creators of the game Threes, accused Cirulli and also makers of 1024 (Veewo studio) of copying their game in their blogpost. Sirvo takes a dig at its game’s clone and labels them easy to win. They even go on to explain how their game is still better than all the Threes-inspired games. Although they say that they are taking all in their stride, it is obvious the creators seem to be quite irked at all the copycats.

Kraven coming in Amazing Spiderman 2 Game

Spiderman has a lot of awesome villans like the venom, doc ock etc. in the forthcoming game Amazing Spiderman 2 you might be able to fight Kraven the Hunter.

Some of the people who do not know who kraven is here is his bio, as the name suggest Kraven is a hunter who comes from Russia, he drinks a serum of sorts that gives him superhuman powers like of our Spiderman.

New PS Vita Announced

The new PS Vita has officially been announced, and the new, improved Vita is 15% lighter and 20% thinner than the original model

Here's what's new

• Micro-USB port for charging
• The new PS Vita comes in a variety of different color options.The colors include black, white, yellow, olive green, blue and pink.
• The screen is now OLED

The new Vita goes on sale in Japan on October 10th with a pricealmost $190 and is WiFi-only with 1GB of internal memory. All is known about it yet i will keep you all informed
