Snickometer In Cricket
This
technique was created by Alan Plaskett, this helps to make empires to make the
right decision, if the batsman is out or not. A very high sensitive microphone
is kept near the stumps, and is connected to the oscilloscope that measures the
sound waves when the ball touches the bat. Whenever the ball touches the bat
the oscilloscope gives a big wave (of sound). When the oscilloscope wave is
played with the slow motion shot. The decision gets very easy for the umpire.
