Technology In Sports-Part 8

Car Design in F1

A “normal” F1 car can accelerate to astounding 100 kmph in just 4 secs., and it is said that the driver experiences 4 times of the car’s body weight while making a turn. To handle this heaviness the car’s engine has to be very powerful, if not the car can topple up while making a turn, and sometimes it does. So the car and the engine have to be made according to all this, so that the car remains stable at all times and offers a least amount of resistance. All this is made possible by a high powered workstations, which analyses everything on the computer itself and there is no need to make the car physically and then test it.
