Pre-Requisits
- HTC One V(GSM)
- USB Cable
- Official RUU of the Handset from here
- HTC Sync
- Backup Everything from your phone
Step 3: Installing ClockWork Mod
Clockwork mod is very important for your device as it helps you to backup/restore/or install new roms on your device
- Download this
- Put this file into Fastboot
- Press and hold the power button till the screen flashes a few times and powers off
- Hold volume Down your phone will be booted to what we call the HBOOT
- Controlling from Vol+/Vol- go to Fastboot
- With the USB cord connect your phone to the pc
- Right click in the Fastboot folder holding down Shift and click "open command window here"
- Execute the following command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"(without quotes)
